13th November 2010 – “Explosive” Music; Handel, Bach, Beethoven

Opening the subscriber concert season with a “bang”, this concert will first showcase both the wind and string sections of the orchestra. It will then move on to explore two symphonies by Beethoven, the first of which is lesser and the second much better known.  A concert of contrasts.
